Minutes-Khalifa al muhairi

Minutes

On the 4th of Nov. 2012 on 10:15AM we had a meeting on T006A at the ADMC campus, our main topic was about Emiratisation on the UAE. The topic was very interesting for us to discuss because of luck the job for the certain graduated students. There were a few ideas to consider which are:

·        Sponsorship (government and private)

·        Future plans and estimating

·        Preparing the certain people to take the lead

·        Training the young employees

·        Adopting center

The members of the group are; the chairmen: Khaifa Almuhairi, the Minute’s takers: Faleh AL Hajrei, Mohammed AL Qubaisi and Mohammed Abu Baker are the participants.

1.     Sponsorship: companies provide sponsor ship for students in colleges to encourage the students to complete their higher studies in order to take positions in the community.

2.     Future planning and estimating:

o   Governments help the private company by paying half the salary for local people.

o   Survey the percentage of graduated students in 5-10 years, and make a plan for the jobs. (Preparing and monitoring the graduated students.

3.     Training local people to take the lead:

o   Train the local employee for a certain jobs that they have weakness in it, so after a period of time they can take position of foreign employee.

o   Put the right people on the right positions depending on their certificate.

Adopting center:

·        Qualify disable people to participate them in the community

·        Provide jobs for different levels of education

At the end of the meeting we agreed to have a meeting on the 10th Dec. 2012, the place and the time we will be confirmed later.

Khalifa AlMuhairi-H00155983-Self Reflection

Self Reflection

The way to accomplish the greatest goals in life is by achieving it hand in hand. Meeting’s the most effective step of getting any task done as a team, by sharing ideas and thoughts. Other’s opinions can many times change the way we look at things, sometimes positively.

Three of my classmates and I had a meeting to discuss a given task about improving “Emiratization”. I was the chairman, made sure everybody was there on time and ready. We gathered valuable points to accomplish this task which proceeded successfully. This was a big meeting compared to the practice meeting we did in class about solving the parking jam issue in the College campus. The reason our recent meeting was more professional, is only because the practice meeting is what got us ready and prepared.

As a manager I will always be enthusiastic and attentive, because I think they are the keys to organizing an interesting and effective meeting. Providing free food is always a great idea.
